The African American History Ministry is sponsoring a Genealogy Workshop on Saturday, February 24th from 1 PM to 3 PM. Watts Chapel members interested in researching their family history will be provided with the tools and encouragement to begin their family history journey.  Click here to register today!

Join the PLACE small group session on Saturday, March 3 from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm and discover insights about yourself and the way God has shaped you for your unique role. Click here tor register.

The Women of Watts (WOW) ministry cordially invites all women to join us for Sisterhood Weekend, March 9 through March 11. This year’s theme is "Under Construction with the Vinedresser" (John 15:5).  The weekend kicks off with a time of fellowship Friday, March 9, from 6:00 p.m. through 8:00 p.m. with food, games, and vendors. On Saturday, March 10, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. join us for an off-site prayer breakfast at Martin Street Baptist Church (Raleigh) featuring keynote speaker Rev. Latonya M. Penny. The package price for the entire weekend is $35 and includes a Sisterhood Weekend t-shirt. There is no individual pricing for the Friday or Saturday events; however, if you do not register, you can purchase a t-shirt for $10. The weekend culminates on Sunday, March 11 with our Women’s Day Worship Celebration. Registration is required to participate on Friday and Saturday and begins TODAY in Room 8/10 immediately following each worship celebration. Click here to register online.

Every second Saturday, immediately after the F.B. Weaver Choir Rehearsal, Middle & High School students will meet here at Watts Chapel on Saturday afternoon Together (SAT) - a time for Bible Study and Fellowship. Click here to register. 


The WOMEN OF WATTS need you! Come help us serve the community by packing and serving lunches for the homeless and hungry with Brown Bag Ministry. On the first Saturday of every month, we will meet at the Brown Bag Ministry location at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3008 Old Raleigh Road in Apex, NC 27502 at 9:30 a.m. St. Andrew’s is located near the Cary Auto Park. After packing the lunches, we will help distribute them at the Oak City Outreach Center located at 215 South Person Street, Raleigh, NC. Click here to register.


Watts Chapel family members who are providing care to sick and loved ones need our support and prayers.  Many caregivers feel isolated and forgotten by their church families. Care Buddies are needed to call and visit Watts' caregivers and help them find community resources.  Volunteers will receive training from AARP (need not be an AARP member).  If you are interested in providing prayer, compassion, and moral support; or if you are in need of prayer, compassion, and moral support; or need research on available county and state resources please click here to complete a brief form.
