Through the abundant favor and grace of God, Watts Chapel has reopened for weekly worship. A limit of 300 has been set. MOTHER HILL’S HOMEGOING CELEBRATION – Mother Clydia Hill transitioned from labor to reward on Sunday, October 31. Her Homegoing Celebration will be held on Monday, November 8. The Wake will begin at 11 AM, followed by the Homegoing Celebration at 12 PM.

Due to the Coronavirus and protocols put in place, a maximum of 300 attendees has been set. advance registration which includes completion of the Coronavirus Screening Form is required for each person attending age 2 and above attending.  Click here to register to attend the Homegoing Celebration.

FALL BACK – Daylight Savings Time ends on Sunday, November 7, 2021. Don’t forget to turn your clocks back 1 hour Saturday night before going to bed.

RESUME WORKSHOP – Need assistance writing or updating your resume? The HR Career Development Ministry will host a virtual resume writing workshop on Saturday, November 13 from 1 PM to 3 PMClick here to register by Wednesday, November 10 at 11:59 PM.

BABY DEDICATION – Attention Parents! The next Baby Dedication will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2021 (after the 9:30 Worship Celebration). If you’d like to register, please call the Church office or click here to register by 11:59 PM on Wednesday, November 17.

HOLIDAY MEAL ASSISTANCE –The Impact Missionaries will be offering holiday meal assistance for families in need during the Thanksgiving holiday. Click here to request meal assistance by Sunday, November 14 at 11:59 PM. Distribution will take place Monday, November 22 from 3 PM to 6 PM (under the Admin Office overhang). 

ANGEL TREE 2021-The Impact Senior Ministry will be doing a virtual Angel Tree Project. Members of the congregation can contribute to Angel Tree and be a blessing to children whose parents are incarcerated. Our Angel Tree Project will also include children in our Watts Chapel Family who are 18 years of age and under in need of assistance. Click here to register by Sunday, November 28 at 11:59 PM or email angeltree@wattschapel.org for information. SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATIONATTENTION HS JUNIORS & SENIORS:  Come learn about the Watts Scholarship opportunity provided by Watts Chapel.  Complete details will be available about this scholarship program. The virtual information session will be held on Sunday, November 14 from 1-2 PM.

WATTS SCHOLARS – Our Watts Scholars will be recognized on Sunday, December 19 following the 9:30 worship service. We will honor the elementary students who achieved a rating of 3 or 4 on the grade level standards and middle and high school students who made the A, A/B honor roll for the 1st quarter of this school year. A copy of your child’s report card can be emailed to scholarship@wattschapel.org by Monday December 6 at 5 PM. Please include a parent or guardian’s name, phone number, and email address on the report card. Thank you for adhering to the deadline

RISE AGAINST HUNGER – Join Watts Chapel for a community-based Meal Packaging Thanksgiving Collaboration on Friday through Sunday, November 26  to November 28 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Volunteers will aim to package 125,000 Rise Against Hunger meals, in a SAFE ENVIRONMENT, to be distributed around the world through school feeding programs, orphanages, health clinics, vocational training programs and in response to crisis (i.e., Haiti). There are multiple shifts available each day.

The TLC Ministry provides prayer, encouragement and resource information to our Watts Chapel family members who are caring for elderly, special needs or disabled loved ones. Caregivers click here to complete the census form so we may better serve you. Also, TLC Ministry is seeking compassionate Care Buddy volunteers who can call, pray for, or lend a listening ear to our brothers and sisters as they care for their loved ones.
